Archistar Academy learning platform

ArchiStar Academy is an online training platform that provides a comprehensive set of training in the AEC industry and helps firms transition to parametric design and digital design workflows.

I created the promo video in preparation of the platform relaunch and to promote the academy on XJTLU learningmall in China

The platform

The Archistar Academy platform was redesigned to improve user experience accessing career-related content, learning streams, and individual courses, as well as provide course creators (Authors) with a facility to submit and monetize content to the platform.

Key enhancements included;

Better video player controls
Improved tracking of course and lesson progress
The ability to easily track favourites
Ability to easily share course content and insights
Better interaction options with Students

Furthermore, the platform was expanded to accommodate third-party content, which required the design and implementation of author identification, verification and vetting of proposed course offerings via acceptance criteria. Once authors and their content proposals are approved, they can create their course, upload their content, and submit it for approval before publication.

Course authors could also manage their profiles, courses, student interactions and accounts, including revenue share.
