OVERVIEW

Social Soup is Australia's leaders in influence marketing. Traditionally they operated on a web only platform but recognized their audience had an appetite for a mobile app and if they didn't move the competition could steal part of their audience. As a result a new Souper experience for mobile was born. The design of this experience built on the original foundation of the platform but extended it with new ideas, features and engagement strategies utilizing UCD and Gamification.

When designing the concept and framework for the app I always saw it as a Social network which rewarded user activity and seamlessly became part of both a Souper's individual and social day to day life.

Whilst the original MVP changed a lot from the initial design I find over time as the product matures it challenges business assumptions and moves towards the original user centered design.
